Today I have watched an interview with Friedrich Kunnath and was looking at his paintings.
The twist of having a painting looking like it was painted in the romantic age period with these headlines painted on the canvas. I have thought before that it might not be a good idea to write words on a painting. But he chooses headlines and visual images in a way that makes the paintings interesting to look at. Having humor and feelings come out in this way, and making me stop and reflect for a moment after looking at his work.
As I can read on this painting it is written: "Miss the sound of your perfume"
